Hibi, Professor Yasuo Kato, and Professor Yasuhisa Asano of the Department
of Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering, Toyama Prefectural University
in collaboration with Kyowa Pharma Chemical Co., LTD (Takaoka city, Toyama)
succeeded in developing an eco-friendly plant-derived catalyst that can
be used as a reaction accelerator in the manufacturing process of pharmaceuticals.
The results will reduce environmental load and contribute to the creation
of a sustainable society through the safe and eco-friendly new technologies.
