Biomedicines such as antibody drugs are composed of either native or engineered protein/DNA molecules. In our laboratory, we perform research on basic properties of protein, including solubility, stability, folding and intermolecular interactions, and their evolution, with the aim of design and manufacture of new biomedicines.
抗体医薬を始めとするバイオ医薬品は、タンパク質や核酸からなる生体分子を素材とする。本研究室では、これら生体分子の折りたたみや安定性、溶解度などの基礎物性とそれらの分子進化について研究を行っている。さらに、これらの知識を基盤とした新しいバイオ医薬品の開発や製造法について研究する。
