Career Center Toyama Prefectural University maintains top rank in Japan in the success rate in finding employment by students previous to graduation. The Career Center develops a "wide range of life career education" to help students build a spirit of independence and make effective decisions on career choices in collaboration with various organizations and business communities in the area. The center provides the following services: - Career guidance - Support for entrance into graduate schools - Advice on anxiety and concerns arising from the job search - Advice on how to fill in application forms - Advice on interviews, and so on. Computer Center The mission of the Computer Center is to provide advanced information processing environment for all staff and students. We provide the following services: ・Secure and high-speed network environment to classrooms and laboratories (Gigabit ethernet to every room and wireless network to every building), ・"Laptop-Ready" classrooms with power supply and gigabit ethernet port for each seat, ・WWW based communication System for education, which can be accessed anytime and anywhere, ・Desktop PCs for classroom education with CAD software, multimedia tools, and so on, ・Reliable and highly-available server services and a powerful computing environment, ・Several useful software licenses to all users in the university, ・Technical consulting and advising.
