WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN TOYAMA

The ISTA13 Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to the 13th International Symposium on Toxicity Assessment (ISTA13), which is being held in Toyama, Japan, from August 19 through August 24, 2007. ISTA Symposia have been held on a biennial basis since 1983.
The goal of these Symposia is the presentation of scientific surveys and papers relating to the fields of environmental science and more specifically to the topic of toxicity assessment using bioassays and biomarkers. The Symposia are designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge and to strengthen communication and cooperation between environmental researchers and diverse groups of the scientific community (managers, regulators, policy-makers, academia, etc.) concerned by current issues in ecotoxicology. During ISTA13, a special session on bioassay applications for marine environmental management in the Northwest Pacific Region countries will also be held.
