出身地:
東京生まれの東京育ち(子供の頃4年間ブラジルに在住)だが、富山に来てはや四半世紀、完全に富山県民化している。老眼と衰える知力、体力と戦いながら学生への現場での実験指導を何とか続けているが、定年まで継続できるか甚だ疑問。大きな病気をしてワークライフバランスを真剣に考えるようになったが、長年培った(?)ワーカホリックの性分はなかなか治らず、現実と理想の狭間でもがき中。

趣味:
スポーツ・・下手の横好きでいろいろな種目に手を出し中途半端にやめてしまう。運動がほとんどできなくなり水中ウォーキングと水泳のみが唯一体を動かす手段のため、今まで日々の運動で消費していたカロリーをどうするかが一番の懸案事項。

音楽・・スポーツと違いHR/HM一筋40年!コテコテのクサメタ信者だが、メロパワ、メロスピ系も大好き。最近は息子や学生の指導によりデス系を聞く機会が増えており、女性ボーカルのメタルバンドも密かにお気に入り。

特技:
嗅覚が犬並に鋭いこと。微生物で培った観察(匂)眼を植物に生かしたい。
